Answer
Raising wild robins in captivity is against the law in some countries.

For study purposes it is possible to keep robins, but very rarely that permit is given.

Even for an expert is very hard to hand raise a robin. There are some zookeepers that are specialised in bird that are doing it with succes.

The problem with their diet. It is live samll insects in very large numbers. And those insects are protected also. So you have to set up a insect breeding line or buy it in expensively.

The best is study how the parents take care of it, if the parents stop care for it you have to step very quickly as the baby can only survive a half day without food.

Warmth is also vital. So food is insect for the very young birds and the what larger babies can do with insectrich food (the expensive universal food).

The longer is it feed by the parents the larger the survival chance is.
