Lovebird behavoir and training

Question
1st of all my peachface love bird does not like to eat fruit or veggies any info/tips.  2nd of all do you know how to teach a lovebird how to wave and spin in a circle.                            Thank you!!!

Hello Sheldon,

First tip on diet - don't give up!!! It's so important that birds eat a healthy diet. Try foods cut up in squares, big pieces, tiny pieces, long pieces, whole pieces, hanging from the cage, mix baby food in with the pellets (make a mash), warm the food, cook the food, offer a potted herb garden, and don't give up!!!

Second question - yes I do know how to train those behaviors, however that would be very difficult to explain in the format. So I would recommend the book The Click That Does The Trick: Trick Training Your Bird The Clicker Way by Robin Deutsch. You'll find this book as very easy step by step instructions for a variety of fun tricks. Enjoy!
