I recently read online that it isn't good to let your bird sit on your shoulder, is this true?

Hello yes and no its nice to have your little buddy on your shoulder while using the internet or whatever but larger parrots will think they are superior over there owner when allowed on tehre shoulder also big birds can give bad bites and you Could loose an eye, I've had cockatiels, lovebirds and budgies on my shoulders without issues but don't reccomend larger birds doing this.
