does a rooster have to mate with all the chickens and or hens in a hen house every night to produce eggs...how do you get eggs everyday from a chicken if not...

You will get eggs from a chicken more or less every day whether a rooster is present or not. We don't have a rooster at the moment and our chickens still lay eggs every day. He has no impact on laying, only on fertilised eggs.
