open sore under chicken wing

our rescued hen has a big open sore under her wing. right down to flesh . is this normal ? she is fine in other ways thanks

Of course this isn't normal! Is the wound wet or weeping or smelly? It needs thoroughly flushing and cleaning with a boiled and then cooled salt water solution. If it is wet etc you will need a course of antibiotics for her from your vets.
