QuestionI bought a miniature horse in Oct. of this year. When I got her she was so sweet and loving and supposedly pregnant. About 5 days ago she started acting odd, such as: not wanting to be messed with and really spooked. Is there any chance this could be because she is close to giving birth?
AnswerIt is very possible. Unless she has another reason for getting cranky? Signs to look for pending a birth are behavior changes, udder starts to enlarge and tail head will soften.
