Help!

Help! I am so worried about a minature horse! We think she accidentially swallowed a foam sticker and I don't know what to do! I put it on her nose andn we think it could of fallen in the grass she was eating. I know this is a tough question, but I need some hope. I am so afraid that she will die. I feel like my stomach is a time bomb.

Thanks for the question. How long ago did this happen? I really doubt that anything serious will come of it. Just make sure she is eating, drinking and pooping. It should work its way through if she even ate it. If she starts to have any signs of colic- pawing, rolling, obvious distress or depression or lack of poop call your vet immediately! In the meantime, please don't blame yourself. Horses can and do pick up and eat paper, strings, plastic bags and other weird stuff. I think she'll be fine. Best, Toni
