Mini horse problems

Question
I got a 1 year old, male, paint miniature horse who I got just over two weeks ago from a friend. He has never been handled, they gave his a place to sleep, food, water, but they never had time to break him to lead or anything else. When I got him I broke him in to lead and he was just fine. He is a sweet horse and would go any where that you asked him to go. But a couple of days ago we had to put him into his summer barn (a barn that is more open and cooler), and so now when I try to lead him he rears, bites, and bucks. We thought it was just because we changed his barn. I love him, but I don't know what to do, and also I am afraid of him now. Can you please help?

Answer
First I am wondering about the minis daily schedule.....even though it is in the summer barn is his daily routine normal?  Is he out on grass now but wasnt before.  Sometimes simple changes will (unfortunately) affect the horses behavior.  If he wasnt on grass before but is now he may no interest in working so you might have to push him harder.  Also has he recently be gelded?  That may make him not up to par.  Also consider different horses being around or could he of gotten hurt?  Make sure theres nothing around that spooks him.  But remember to keep yourself safe when he is misbehaving and after your safe make sure you discipline him.  He can't learn that this behavior is ok.... Hope this helps..Keep me posted :)
