Question
My mini is over weight, she was when I bought her and still is though she has slimed down quit a bit, I would like to breed her can I or is there a higher risk of problems or death? Thank you.

Answer
It depends on how overweight she is.  Like humans sometimes the more overweight a mother is the more complications there could be.  I would probably have a vet look at her before breeding her because its hard to tell.  If she is sound and has good health than she should be fine.  Remember to keep her off the sugary green grass and give her only plain oats and hay to keep that weight off.  Hope this helps.
