keeping one

Hi, could you tell me would it be cruel just to have one mini, i don't have room for two, i have two pygmy goats and 2 hens. lots of time to love and take for walks. please advise. val

Thanks for the question. No- I don't think it would be cruel. Many people have just one horse. Horses are herd animals but are very adaptive to a herd that can be people, goats, etc. What is cruel, in my opinion, is to have a horse that never has any interaction with others or is neglected in its care.
