pony to horse breeding

Question
I have a 3 year old welsh pony mare approx.. 12 hh and i want to foal her and I'm having trouble finding a good stud pony.
Can i breed her with a horse? Is there a certain breed or size limit? I am new to this so any help would be appreciated thank you!

Hi Katie,
         You do not mention what type of build she has, I:E stocky, slender or in between. To be on the safe side I would not breed her to any stallion that was bigger then 14.3-15 hands. While the mare does determine the size of the foal in utero, there have been  incidents of the foal being too large to be born. I would stick with a stallion who throws off smaller foals just to be on the safe side.
