appearance of utters

my mares nipples appear to be inverted. The soft tissue surrounding the teat itself is swollen but the teat is still very close to the body. The mare is approx 45 days from foaling.

Hi- I wouldnt worry too much about this until you notice the foal position itself-hence the mares belly gets larger at the bottom- I would give her at least another month. Some mares do this and most of the time all is well. when she bags full-they should look normal. I wish you the best of luck!
