Yellow Belly

I have a yellow belly slider that's about 10 months old. In two weeks I'm going to be getting a second turtle. Is it safe to put the new baby turtle in the same tank with the turtle already have, or should I let the baby turtle grow up more before combining the two?

The short answer is that turtles are easily overcrowded and stressed by it. They can share a habitat if it is plenty big, like 10 gallons of water space per inch of shell length. Otherwise, they are better by themselves.
