Florida Softshell turtles and snapping turtles

I currently have a baby snapping turtles he is cool and everything however i want something that is more active so im thinking i will get a florida softshell turtle so how active are these turtles or are they less active the my common snapping turtle

Hello Mark, turtles are not really an active pet. And Soft-Shell turtles usually hide over half the time. They bury themselves in sand at the bottom of the tank to hide and feel secure. Definately not one of the more active species of turtle.

No turtle is really over-active. And I cant think of one that stands out as active.
