terrapins not eating

Question
I got some pet terrapins about 5 days ago on 18th May. They have not eaten any food and i dont think they have drunk any water please reply as soon as possable, i think one of them died and the rest are dieing. I can't see a vet because where I am there are no vets that can take terrapins.

I would need to know the species and what kind of set-up you have before I could give good advice, but common reasons for not eating include:
- water is too cold or dirty
- tank is too small
- wrong kind of food
- sickness

Turtles should not die in only 5 days just because of no food- something else may be wrong here.

- species (or a good description)
- size of tank
- how much water in the tank, and what temp
- how is the water kept clean
- what kind of heating and lighting are you using
- what are you feeding them
