I'm wanting to know what can be added to my red ear sliders habitat? Also, is it part of them growing for them to shed their skin? Kind-of looks like a snake skin, really thin.

Shedding is normal, but normal sheds happen a little at a time. Lots of shedding can be either too much food or too fast growth, or too much stress- small habitat, dirty water, cool or hot temps, poor diet, etc.

Try the above links to see what you can tweak in the cares and diet. The middle one is probably the easiest to review.
