Eggs?

QUESTION: I have an 11 ft snapping turtle. I was checking her for any problems and any possible shell and skin infections and i felt weird bumps inside her lower abdominal area. I felt about 5 or 6 on each side. Are these eggs?

ANSWER: im sure it is not 11 ft lol  but there is a possibility that there are eggs. you can wait it out or take to vet for x rays.

Eggs?   QUESTION: I feel dumb for putting feet. I meant inches. I'll attach an image to this. I probably shouldnt flip her over if those are eggs. I can only feel three right on the top. But when she's flipped right side up and i feel it i can feel maybe 5 or 6 on each side.

ANSWER: when a turtle is gravid the eggs are soft, like jello then when they are laid, the air hits and they harden. id recommend waiting a few days, then if not signs take to vet.

QUESTION: So what do i do? do i let her walk around until she lays them? if they are eggs of course.

if you have a secure outdoor area that she can not escape from then you can let her do that IF she is gravid.
please dont hatch the eggs though Rescues and rehabs are full already
