Sick Red ear slider

Question
Lately my turtle will not eat and just floats on top of the water. I placed him on a rock and he dosen't move. His back legs look somewhat swollen.

I really don't do water turtle questions anymore, but it sounds like your turtle is quite sick. it sounds like it may be pneumonia and/or some blood poisoning.

I would recommend a vet, but you can try the experienced keepers at http://www.turtleforum.com to see if anyone has another idea.
