hermann tortoise diet

Its me again I want to give my Hermann tortoises more choice because they only eat romaine lettuce, Pak chow, cucumber, broccoli and pansies, all the web sites say different things, can you please tell me what they can eat for a good varied diet and that they won't get bored with
can they eat bread, chicken, slugs, worms, rice, canned food. Some sites say they can but others say no.

Bread and rice are big no-nos. Avoid grains, milk, sugar, fat, salt... sounds sorta like what doctors always tell us to eat, huh?

'Bored' is not a big problem with tortoises- variety is good, but you don't need a real big menu.
