Question
Yesterday night is the most frightening night ever.
I saw my baby girl glider (6 months old) hanging on her sleeping pouch, with 1 of her nail stick to it and she trying to escape, i then get near to the cage, wanted to release her, however, as she try harder, she got her body like turned around and she was Yelling and crabbing in pain! when i saw this i immediately called my boyfriend to hold the pouch so she wont be hanging and i trying to release the pouch from Cage, then my bf turn the pouch around and her arm is now ok, i couldn't sleep until i see  her climbing and eating again, but i afraid she's still in pain or something but i cant understand her!

Please help expert, i couldn't do my work. I keep thinking about this accident last night. Do you think she's fine?
Her arm is so small i don't know what i can do to help her.

Answer
Hello Flora,

You are lucky that you noticed that your glider was stuck.  She may have been hurt very badly if she had been hanging for a long time.  She is probably sore, but if she is climbing and eating, she will most likely be fine.

The important thing now is to keep her nails trimmed.  Gliders do not like this, but it is extremely important, since their nails are not naturally trimmed by climbing around on trees.  You can read my suggestions for trimming nails on my website:

Good luck, please let me know if you have any other questions.
