my glider brie and her joey

hi i have three gliders two girls and a boy my one girl had a joey in her pouch that was geting ready to come out at anytime then all of the sudden its gone idk what happened to it we think they ate it and now it looks like she has another little one in her pouch and its only been five days do you know what could have happened?

I am so sorry for your loss.  What you suspect is entirely possible, especially if this was her first joey.  Most likely it won't happen again. Try to forget about it and hope for the best with the new joey.  Be sure the gliders are eating well.  Add some extra protein, and be sure they are also getting enough calcium.
