baby corn snakes

Question
I caught a corn snake a few months ago at my house.  She ended up laying eggs in the cage I had her in and excaped.  Well, I managed to hatch all 7 eggs.  They are now 24 hours old.  I've been told that I have to wait until there first shed (about a week) before feeding and even then I have to feed them baby pinkies (the smaller ones).  6 of the 7 allow you to hold them still shakey at first however 1 of the 7 is very aggressive.  It strikes at anything that moves around him except the other snakes.  My question is how I can calm him down or if he will ever be more friendly?  Plus I was wondering if there was any way to tell the gender of the snakes this young?  If you have any information for me that would help with raising them please let me know.  Thank you for your time.

Answer
Yes, you will need to feed them pinky mice. Some will take frozen-thawed pinks right away, and others might only take live. You will have to wait until their first shed before they will probably eat. If they have fat bellies from their egg yolk then it may take even longer before they are hungry. For the aggressive one, holding it often may help, but some snakes are just high-strung and will take time to grow out of it. The only way to tell their sexes is by probing or popping. Both require some skill and you can't really do it without someone showing you how. Either a good reptile vet can show you, or you can get to a reptile show and someone there can most likely help you.
