Question
my corn snake is only 8 months old and usually ok.
but we are finding it hard to keep the temp right and is usually between 69-70. And lately hes been acting very strangely e.g. sleeping by his water bowl and twists his body would these problems be related to the temperature?
thanks

Answer
What kind of heater as you using? I use two undertank heaters for mine with a wool blanket to put over it when the temperature drops. If you use a spot heater then you might still need to insulate the tank in some way, or bring up the wattage a bit.
During the day the minimum temperature should be 75 with the highest being 81. There should be a temperature gradient in the tank, with the heat being at one end and the cooler at the other.
