QuestionHi
I have two royal pythons who are both approx 14 months old. I got my female back in January, and the male just under a month ago. I got them both from the same breeder, though they are not brother and sister.
I know I need to keep him in quarantine, so he is in a seperate enclosure for now, however, I will house them together (in a new big tank) eventually. How long will I need to keep him away from her?
Plus, at what age will they be able to breed? And will it be okay to house them together before they are old enough to breed? I don't want him taking advantage of her!
Thanks!
Natalie
AnswerHey Natalie,
You should quarantine him for at least a month. After this time it would be ok to house them together, but if you plan on breeding them you should house them seperatly.
