My boa

Hi I have a 4-5year old red tailed boa, hes a great eater ver friendly and he's handled quite a bit. I went to pick him up today and noticed his throat around his head seems a bit swollen. Any advice on what it could be?

Perhaps Upper Respiratory Tract infection.  Watch for slimey discharge from the mouth, mucus in the mouth, out-right puss from the throat or mouth, audible breathing sounds.  See any of those call the vet.  In the mean time maybe bump up the temp in the cage a couple of degrees.
