Question
PLEASE CAN YOU TELL ME WHEATHER A IMPERTAR BOA CONSTICTOR CAN LIVE WITH A BALL PYTHON, BOA IS 4FT LONG AND PYTHON IS 1FT LONG, AS IM TRYING TO LOKK AFTER A RESCUE PYTHON AT THE MOMENT AND WE ARE TRYING TO LOOK AFTER TWO TANKS WITH NOT THE CORRECT KIT FOR IT

Answer
In a word, yes. You can house Boa's and Ball Pythons together.

Personally, i don't tend to keep snakes of different species together, although I know several people that do and have had no problems.

Is the rescue python the ball python you want to introduce to the boa?

If it is, I would strongly urge you to quarantine it for a month or two before introducing it, to make sure it doesn't have any diseases or parasites that could be passed to your boa.

You also need to be aware that there is a fairly big size difference. When introducing the ball python to the boa keep a close eye on it to check that it doesn't get stressed by being housed with a larger snake.

Lastly make sure that the cage is big enough to house both snakes and when feeding, feed each snake individually in a separate tank.

My recommendation would be to use this as only a temporary solution and sort out a separate cage for the Ball Python if/when you can.

I think that covers it all, thanks for your question Ben.
