Popping!

Sorry eric i dont know if my last question posted i found this site while panicing for an answere please help .... this is my first snake a RTB about 3 months old bred in cap we got her about 2 weeks ago in perfect health! we fed her a "fuzzy" mouse that was about half the size of her belly and now she is making a popping noise when she is breathing ... we is only about a foot long and in a 250 gal tank by herself with tons of room heat and water .... please help what did i do to my snake! thnx hope to hear from you

Hello Casey,

You did not do anything wrong. You really should feed her a prey item equal to her mid body girth. This will help ensure proper nutriona is getting to her.

I might change the tank to a twenty gallon at least until she gets big enough for the 250 gallon tank. This way the temps and humidity levels can better be controlled while she is still so young.
