Hi my question isnt about snakes but I thought you might be able to help, I am getting a bearded ddragon at the end of the month, I saw a reptel bulb in petsmart today that provided warmth for basking, UVB & UVA rays! It fits into a clamp lamp socket would this be good to use as a heat/uvb sorce?

Hello.  Thanks for your question.  I think that this particular setup sounds okay for your bearded dragon.  Make sure that the basking lamp is a "spot" basking lamp which will allow your lizard to move in and out of the heat source as necessary.  You may also want to refer to a book about bearded dragons for additional information on these awesome creatures.  I know that they sell these types of books that are breed specific at Petsmart and other reptile or pet stores.  Also, if you have any additional questions or concerns about your dragon, please ask me.  I will be more than happy to help you!
