Question
QUESTION: Hello,Just today my 1 year old female beardie is not moving at all! she is barely opening her eyes and she seems as if she is dieing. Her color is bright and has been. She was fin justt he other day. She has gotten the right food, calcium, water, and heating and lighting. I have had her from the egg and she has been healthy since.  Im afraid she is going to die. I bathed her thinking she may need more water because i was away the previous night. After, i left her to sunbathe in her enclosure. Five minutes later, i walked in to find her completely on her side and i quickly corrected her while spraying her with water. the only thing that makes her move a tiny bit is when she is sprayed. When i hold her she shows no aciton of any kind. if she moves its a tiny movement. She is still breathing nromally and will make neck movements like she does when she gets water. I could use alot of help right now, what should i do? Do you have an idea of whats going on?

ANSWER: Start by getting her to a vet, because this is not the place for questions in an emergency. Then you can follow the directions and answer the questions in my instructions. You didn't do that, so this message is just a waste of time because you have given me no relevant background. How do I know that you know what "right food, heating, lighting" is?

QUESTION: IT was in the middle of the night. She died by morning. And i think i know what im doing after 5 years of taking care of bearded dragons.

Answer
I don't accept private messages here, so I am changing this to public.

If you knew what you were doing then why were you here? And when you do come here to ask, and you expect a decent answer from me, in a timely manner, in regards to a medical issue...then it would behoove you to follow my instructions to questioner and provide SOME relevant background info to go on. You gave nothing. I guess you were above providing that info because you know what you are doing? I guess you just expect that I should trust that everything with your husbandry is correct, despite the fact you are here asking for urgent help for a dying dragon??

5 years is an insignificant amount of experience to be honest with you. That's barely enough time with reptiles to figure out you've been doing it wrong.
