is my leo going to be ok

My leopard gecko ate one of the cricket water pillows the other night, he has suffered from an impaction before and Im not sure how he will react to this. is there anything I need to do to help him get it out? or will this seriously harm him?

Hello Shurri,

Oh poor thing, do you keep the cricket water pillows in his tank?  If so, I would definitely take them out so that doesn't happen again.  Do you leave crickets in the tank overnight with him also?

If you feel that he may be impacted, you will need to stop the feeding of all feeders temporarily.  Get some chicken or turkey babyfood, along with canned pumpkin, sugar free applesauce, & either olive oil or mineral oil.  Mix all of that up together & get 1-2ml's daily into him with a plastic dropper or a plastic syringe.  Also, increase the oral fluids daily as well.  
You can give baths also, & gently massage his little belly to help expedite things moving along.  Try to keep him a little warmer at night too so he can digest things better.
Are you using an undertank heater along with a basking bulb on one end of the tank?
