Question
I know this sounds crazy but i need to know what some "parts" of a bullfrog are called....pardon my descriptions...what is the "pouch" underneath its mouth called?  What are the "disk-like" shapes on either side of its head called? And are all the "dots" on his body really pores?  Thank you for any help....Shelly

Answer
Dear Shelly,
thank you for your question.
The disks are the eardrum, the tympanum, the pouch is the throat which can be inflated to make their calls louder.

The dots on the skin are not pores, but just part of what the skin looks like. It can vary between different individuals.
I hope I was of some help to you
