Question
I have a 40gal breeder tank with 4 White's tree frogs in it, and I want something else besides them.  Weather it will be amphibian(s) or reptile(s) I don't Know,Because I don't know what all is compatible with them.  Please e-mail me back with your opinion  Thanks Tompkins

Answer
Hi Tompkins, White's are a very hardy species and I have kept them quite successfully in community tanks with  gecko species that are also native to Indonesia. You might want to consider something like a White-lined gecko (Gekko vittatus). They are also a hardy species and do well in an environment suitable for White's. Another choice, if your White's are full size adults is a Tokay gecko. They are a bit pugnacious and do not tolerate handling at all but are easy to keep and make a good display animal. Male geckos can be territorial (even against a different gecko species), so just be aware of that.  Tokays are quite a vocal gecko and will likely trigger your male White's to start calling!
