Is it safe for a bearded dragon to hang out with a large iguana?

The bearded dragon at my school has the opportunity to go to home with a
kid who has a 5 foot iguana. The Bg is just one foot and very gentle. Woudl it
be scary for the Bg to see th iguana and is it possible that if they were both
out for a run around at the same time if the iguana could attack him?
I want him to be safe. Thanks

It would not be a good idea for the two to "hang out" together at all. Either could attack the other and cause great damage. Also, there is the chance of disease.  Even though neither may show signs of any disease, they may carry a disease that could infect the other.
For many reasons, the two cannot  be together, even when free roaming. Give them each their own free time and I actually suggest that the beardie not have access to the same areas that the iguana does due to the potential for a disease being spread to either the ig or the beardie.
