My son has a leopard gecko, and for 18 months we used replaceable charcoal filters underneath the substrate.  It was a flat piece of paper sold per the size of the tank.  The top side was black paper (charcoal side), the bottom was brown paper.  It was made to put underneath the substrate and controlled odor.  The pet store stopped carrying them, and acted like they didn't know what I was talking about.  Do you know what I am talking about, and where can I find them, as they work great.

Hi Arnel- I am sorry but I have never seen these charcoal filter pads for reptile tanks

I would like to suggest that you look online at the many online pet product stores
Knowing the brand name and the manufacturer would be helpful in your search

I hope that you can find them at one of these stores
