Question
Hey!
So here's how it goes...i'm getting two veiled chams.  Male and Female!  my plan is to breed them.  I would love it if you could provide a basic breeding care, and also housing.  like how large the enclosure should be?  thank you so much for your time!

Answer
Hello Mackenzie,

When breeding Chameleons they can NOT be housed together until its time to mate. In which case they are introduced and mate then they need to be separated again. They are territorial and can kill eachother and get stressed easily.

So you want 2 all screen enclosures, bigger is better, with a lot of height.
3x3x4ft high is adequate but as I said before if you can get a bigger cage that would be better.

Breeding Chameleons can be stressful, takes a lot of commitment, time and patients. It can also be very hard on the female.

Here is some basic info on it:

Good luck
