arm swellings

Hi Tracy,

My bearded dragon has developed a large swelling under her left arm and a small one under her right. They feel as though they are full of air, ie they are not solid.

She is 8 years old and has never really been very active. She is alert and curious about her surroundings and doesnt appear to be in pain, although she did jump when I picked her up.

She is fed greens every week and crickets and locusts and occasionally giant mealworms.

Hello Ella,

Could you post a picture of her for me?  Are the swellings directly underneath the arms?  
Could they be fat storage on her possibly?
What type & brand of UVB do you use, a flourescent tube bulb or a compact/coil light?  How old is your UVB light?
Do you use a bright white basking light?  What are the temperatures in the tank, & what type of thermometer are you using?
Even though she is 8 years old, she still needs calcium 3 times per week or so to help maintain her bones.
