Can I put hermit crabs in my crested gecko aquarium?

thank you for your question.
I don't recommend co-housing species unless the enclosure is really huge (5ft long, 3ft wide and high and bigger). Usually, the conditions each species needs doesn't fit that well that they can be housed in one tank and smaller tanks are just not big enough to create zones with different humidity/temperature and enough places for the animals to hide from each other. Crested geckos have roughly the same requirements as crabs, but they may try to prey on the crabs and the crabs may hurt or at least bother the gecko by climbing all over it, especially during the day.
