Question
QUESTION: Hey Tracie,

I don't mind crested geckos... but what were you thinking in terms of snakes? I'd love one of them!

Thanks,

Justin

ANSWER: Hello Justin,

I was thinking of a corn snake, because they don't get very large, well, around 3-5 feet.  A ball python would be good, but they get pretty thick since they are constrictors, but corn snakes don't get quite as thick.

QUESTION: so a corn snake would be fine in there fully grown and everything?

Justin

ANSWER: Hello Justin,

Yes, it should be fine, fully grown.  Make sure you have climbing apparatus in there for him, as they love to climb.  As long as he can fully stretch out most of his body so he can expand his lungs properly.
They come in all sorts of colors, too.

QUESTION: tracie,

i think i'll get the snake then.

but, just out of curiosity, will a full grown bearded dragon be okay in this tank?

Answer
Hello Justin,

Which tank are you referring to, the 36 inch one?  A bearded dragon adult can be housed in a 3 foot tank, & the width should be at least 2 times his length, & the height is not all that important.  A good sized tank for an adult dragon is roughly 4x2x2 but a 3x2x2 is fine too.

So you decided to get a snake, huh?
