Question
hi there i have two german giant bearded dragons, both from the same clutch.I have had these since they were 1-2month old. They are now around 9 months old and both are displaying female and male gestures ie. head bobbing, submissive head bobbing, black beards and arm winding. i asked my local reptile pet store and he thought one to be female and one to be male. However the dragons seem to be switching roles of submission and dominance, both displaying black beards and both bobbing and arm winding. I recently added a new hide to the viv and the one i thought was female now shows male traites, and the one i thought male now seems to be displaying female traites. Both have been fighting latley but from other websites i thought this was just adolesances. however now i am begining to think that both dragons may be males, although they are too young to be internally exmanied. So i would like to no if two males can live in the same viv, as i wold hate to get rid off one. Your advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Answer
You don't need an internal exam to sex nine month olds.  You just have to  lift their tails up and check te area above the vent.

Male or female, siblings should have been separated three months ago, do it as soon as possible.
