water dragons and baby crickets??

we hav two water dragons in a tank...the crickets we feed them wih seemed to have laid eggs and the lil baby crickets are in the water dragons bath.....do we need to clean the dirt and put fresh dirt or let them live with the lizardss?? is it safe?? or harmful?

Hello Joseph,

Oh no, you are going to have to clean out the entire tank.  Crickets living in with your water dragons are going to cause alot of stress & can bite them when they get bigger.  
How long do you leave the crickets in with the water dragons?  They should not be left in with them for long periods of time so they wont bite them.

So, you are going to have a fun job of cleaning the dirt out.  Can you salvage any of the crickets to put in a critter keeper?
