my leopard gecko is getting very lethargic. im pretty sure the temp is correct. but she never leaves her humid hide unless she has to poop. the waste is looking like she has parasites but I'm not sure if this is causing this. she hasn't eaten in a while but her tail is not skinny. i feed her meal worms with tongs. she takes a bite but does not swallow. please help

Answer
Hello Kiran,

What is your setup like?
Do you have an undertank heater being used, in conjunction with a low wattage basking bulb?  She does need a temperature on the warm end of around 88-90 & the cooler side should be around 78-82.
If her stools are really runny & smelly then it is a possibility of her having worms or parasites yes.  Especially if she is losing weight, that is another indication as well.
If she is not eating well, you will need to get either chicken or turkey babyfood & use a plastic syringe or a plastic dropper to get some food into her.
You will need to get a fecal done on her to determine if she has parasites or not.

Let me know how she is doing.
