Lethargy and Agressivness

Question
Hi,
I actually have two questions. First off, I have Four Beardies, two males and two females, all housed in different cages. The cages are larger for the males (75 gallon w/reptile carpeting) and the females are housed in separte 20 gallons with papertowel substrate until they get old enough for sand(the females are both babies)

So here are my questions:One, my adult male has always shown signs of agressiveness and he has been showing more signs recently(black beard, head-bobbing). We have him blocked off so he cannot see the other male. What could be causing him to do this?

My second question pertains to one of the female babies. One is fat and healthy and very hyper(4 months old), but the older one (5 months) seems to be very lethargic and not quite as fat. She's too young to be burmating, but she prefers the cooler end of her cage, away from the heat lamp. Is this just her personality or is she sick?
Thanks for your time,
Sc

Answer
Hello SC,

I am very happy to hear that you have them all housed in separate tanks!  That is great!  :-))

Well, even though the female babies are young, he "could" be seeing the females, possibly & wanting to breed.  Can he visually see the females?  Even if they are young, or whether or not he senses that they are female if they are new he may be getting upset over the new additions to the home.

Well, I hope that she is not sick.  What type of lighting are you using?  I assume you use UVB lighting, so what type & brand do you use a flourescent tube bulb or a compact or coil light?
She could have worms or parasites.  Perhaps it would be a good idea to get a fecal done on her just to be sure.  It is a little early for brumation, but, sometimes they do try to start slowing down even at that age if they have adequate fat reserves, etc for their age.  It is not totally out of the ordinary.  I had a 7 month old dragon go down last year into brumation but he was almost 20 inches long though.  So I guess he was tired!
How do her stools look?
How long have you had her for?
