Well i have two skunk geckos well now 3. wanted to breed them. not sure if they where male or female. but on inspecting i found two eggs previous to putting the 3rd gecko in the cage. guess my question is need to know male from female. cause males fight to the death from what i herd. oh yeah one more ? do geckos lay dummy eggs.

 Check around the vent for the femoral pores.  When the gecko reaches puberty, a male will have pronounced femoral pores below the vent and down the inner thighs, females also have these pores but they are not pronounced at all, in fact very hard to see.  Yes, a female can lay unfertilized eggs, like a chicken, make sure she gets extra food and calcium after laying.
