water dragon wound care

We have a female water dragon, she has been shedding her skin.....but i jus noticed on her right outer thigh theres is a patch of white lookin meat...dont know if its a cut ....the skin around the wound is black as if it was peeling, but the white meat is concerning us....is isnt bleeding and she dont seem like its hurting her.....what can we put on it and what do you think it is?
Is it just a cut or is it something more severe??

Gosh, without seeing it in a pic I am guessing that it was a cut that got infected and the white tissue is dead maybe, that being said I would really recommend a vet visit.  Other than that you can try and find betadine which is a sanitary solution usually used in surgeries to prevent infection.  But I would really recommend a vet visit as the black around it really concerns me.
