cleaning

my daughters bunny has just had babies we have read up as much as possible but cant really find one correct answer,can we touch the babies?we have tried and she keeps going for us we don't want to scare her !!! also how will we clean her as she has to be taken out of the cage to be cleaned and the babies are in the cage (not a nesting box)wrapped in fluff they are indoor rabbits.thank you

hi sarah just leave her to get on with it and dont try and touch the babies or she may kill them
when there eyes are open and they start to move about (7-10 days)then you can take the doe out and clean up a bit but they will still need a nest so i suggest plenty of hay as you keep them indoors this is not very tidy but it needs to be done.you can then touch the babies.
