QuestionI have a 1 year old Lion Lop Doe. She is loosing the fur on top of her head. I was told it is caused by dry skin and is also known as a "Hot spot". Any truth to this? Is there something I can do to treat and prevent this from happening again? Thanks for your time!

There are many differen reasons a bunny can develop bald patches, and the most common are outlined here:

If she has a partner, then the location of the fur loss suggests it might be overgrooming.
The term "hot spot" is just a description, and doesn't mean much in terms of diagnosis and treatment. A rabbit bald spot is almost always very different from a similar lesion on a dog or cat. To treat it, you will need a rabbit-savvy vet, whom you can find here:
