My rabbit is 5 months .It has got some disease on skin as it can be seen in pics. What disease has it got ? How can it be cured? Please tell . I want to save her.Is it fatal?

Hi,

It looks like a fungal infection but it could also be a form of snuffles.  I am not aware of any vets in your area but if you have a rabbit savvy vet you should take your bunny in for treatment.  I am not a doctor but I can tell you that I have seen something similar to this a few different times.  If the rabbit does not have any white snot coming out of its nose it could possibly be treated with an anti-fungal medication.  However in our country you can not get it without a prescription.  Your bunny may need an antibiotic but the area needs to be cultured to be sure of which antibiotic will work.  It could be fatal if you let it go.  Rabbits breath out of their noses and you need to be sure that the scabs don't cover her nostrils.
