New Rabbit Died

I just got a new rabbit and he died when I had him for less than 24 hours, what could have gone wrong?

Alot of it depends on the age of the animal and where you got it from.  If it was a really young animal the stress of moving from breeder to petstore to your place could have been to much for it to handle. Rabbits can die from stress or fear so this is an option if something startled it or scared it.

Or if you got it from a petstore and they purchase from multiple breeders one of the rabbits could have been sick and passed it on. Since rabbits are prey animals, they tend to hide their illness's very well.

Most places (even breeders) have some sort of guarantee on their animals so you need to contact where you got the rabbit from and let them know it died and see if they will replace it or refund your money.
