rabbit skin injury

Hi Samantha,
I rescued a rabbit that has a spot of torn skin. Will It heal
and close up if I keep it clean, or does it need to be stiched?

Answer
You may want a vet to look at that cut depending on how bad it is. If it is more like a scracth, then It will heal fine with being kept clean and dry. If deeper it may require antibiotics. Likely a vet will not stich it, since it has been open for so long.
