rabbit nail cutting

my rabbit is only 17 weeks, should i cut its nails yet?they are getting pretty long! and how can i prevent them getting long?

Answer
Generally you want to trim them every 2-3 months, or they do become very long.  You can find information at http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/rabcare.html#nails on how to trim nails, the important thing is that your rabbit is comfortable being handled, or that you wrap him up in a towel and just pull out one paw to trim at a time.
